Problem scenario

Anne is quite keen about out-door sports. She had skied in mountains but she never snowboarded. Her friend is trying to get her on mountain. Anne had just finished reading theory and ready to go outdoor.

 

Now Anne needs a snowboard. She does not want to buy a board or rent it from sport-store. So far she has looked ads in sport forums, asked from friends and friends of friends who could lend her a board just to try couple of days. But have not found the board yet.

Since she is a active user of social software, she found an application in Facebook which is specialized to lending and /or changing sports equipment. The app gathers people with similar interests. 

There a two kind of users in that app. One have sport equipment (skis, bike, roller-blades, snowboard) and are willing to lend it out without money but perhaps need some other favor for that. The other ones does not have sports equipment but they need it. There are three categories: "Lend your stuff", "Need to borrow" and "Rent for money".

Anne joined the app and now it is shown in her account as a tab. She leaves her request on "Need to borrow" section and now all the joined members view a notification about new ad. 

At the same time she founds three users who have free boards for that weekend. Anne writes them a short message about the snowboard and asks them to answer through FB or to send an e-mail.
