Paper Prototyping Design Session
We tested paper prototypes in class with other students. Our application prototype is based on Facebook and looks like FB and some functionalites are designed similarly by intention.We received feedback what made us change some functions.
- All test users tried to click on the picture and expected that it will open new window or tab or bigger picture of item.Solution: We made amendment and now clicking on picture or title will open same ad with more information.
- For search test users first clicked on categories and after that wrote a search-word. No-one used search-tab.Solution: We changed layout and moved search area next to the category drop-down menu.
- After sending a message nothing happened and test-user got confused was his message sent or what.Solution: We added a notification after clicking send-message-button “Message is sent”.
- On “My items” section were only things the user is lending out but not those he had borrowed from someone else.Solution: We added new block with a list of items borrowed from others.
